Submission guidelines for the Busted Knuckle Chronicles

The Busted Knuckle Chronicles is a weekly community newspaper that serves the riding community in Canada.

The Busted Knuckle Chronicles reserves the right to accept, reject or edit any submission.

Riding Clubs:

Your name and the position held within your riding club must be included with your article. Please note that this information MUST be included or your club’s article will NOT appear in the newspaper.

Articles that only include your first name or road handle will NOT be considered for print - they can appear in the article that way if that is your desire, but we need your information. Anonymous submissions will not be accepted however we can keep your name anonymous in the paper if that is your desire.

Your article should be 3-500 words and should include your club’s logo and pictures.

All pictures must include information about the picture like location, event it was taken at and at the minimum the first names of the people in the pictures.

If your club has a web site and or email address this information should also be included so that others may contact you.

Independent riders:

Your name, city and province MUST be included with your submission and will appear in your article in the newspaper.

Technical Guidelines:

We are a staff of two and would appreciate your submission being typed in an 11 point Helvetica font and that is be sent in a word document.

We appreciate proper punctuation to minimise the amount of editing neccessary to print your article.

Your article must not include profanity, racism or promote illegal activity.

Your submission must be original material.

The name of the photographer must be included with any pictures submitted.

Photos that do not include the photographers name will NOT be printed.

The Busted Knuckle Chronicles reserves the right to accept, reject or edit any submission.
