Motorcycle fatality rateCalgary has seen more fatal motorcycle crashes so far this year than all of last year. Four people were killed in the first six months of 2016, according to Calgary police. That's up from three in all of 2015.

motorcycle hits 2 mooseA 53-year-old Burton man was killed on Canada Day when he crashed his motorcycle into two young moose and was then struck by a police car as he lay on the highway. The driver of the car was an RCMP member who was unaware of the collision and happened to be driving on the same stretch of highway, according to RCMP Cpl. Marc Fortin.
