Chase man dies in fatal motorcycle hit and run

fatal motorcycle hit CHASE — A 60-year-old man from Chase is dead following a fatal hit and run in the north Shuswap on Sunday afternoon.
Police say he was riding a motorcycle towards Chase from Magna Bay when he was struck by a pickup truck that was travelling in the same direction.

Man killed in motorcycle crash near Red Deer

CALGARY – A man in his 40s was killed in a motorcycle crash south of Red Deer on Tuesday.

It happened on Range Road 40 and Township Road 350, just north of Bowden.

RCMP said a group of friends were travelling together on their motorcycles when two of the motorcyclists failed to negotiate a sharp turn and ended up in the ditch.

Bruno Agostinelli Jr. TORONTO — Retired tennis player Bruno Agostinelli Jr., a former University of Kentucky star and member of Canada’s Davis Cup team, died in a motorcycle crash near Toronto Wednesday at age 28.

Tennis Canada confirmed Agostinelli’s death in a statement on Thursday. The statement did not indicate a cause of death, but Global News confirmed Agostinelli was killed in the crash in Vaughan on Wednesday night. Read On
