Royal Enfield motorcycle sales rise 37% in May

Royal EnfieldRoyal Enfield motorcycle sales for May 2016 rose 37 percent to 48,604 units as against 35,354 units sold in May last year. Exports shot up 86 percent to 1,372 units while domestic sales increased 36 percent to 47,232 units, according to a regulatory filing by Royal Enfield-owner Eicher Motors with the stock exchanges on Wednesday.

BMW Motorrad reveals new R5 concept

To mark the original R5's 80th anniversary, BMW Motorrad commissioned Swedish custom bike makers Ronny and Benny Noren to design and build the main frame of the concept, fuel tank and rear fender in time-honoured fashion, whilst a supercharged original R5 engine was fitted to increase the power from its original 26hp.
